Holiday Inn Express San Antonio East - I-10 by IHG

From the moment I arrived, everything was exceptional. A special shoutout to Nora for her outstanding service, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. The room was another highlight, clean, spacious, and with a delightful fragrance that made it so inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, making my stay incredibly comfortable. I can’t wait to return and will definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you to Nora and the entire team !

Stock show mode hotel review : We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at I-10 & Palmyra and it was a total win. The room was super clean, and here’s the part that deserves a slow clap: they serviced the room daily. Like… actual housekeeping. In 2026. A rare unicorn. The staff was so friendly and accommodating—the kind of people who make you feel welcomed, not just “checked in.” And for stock show life, the location is chef’s kiss: easy in/easy out and close to the show grounds, which matters when you’re running on coffee and chaos. Big bonus for families: they were totally fine with our big kids (all high school age) hanging out in the lobby area in the evenings to play games and eat. It made the whole stay feel relaxed and easy instead of “everybody tiptoe and whisper.” Officially our new go-to for the San Antonio Stock Show.

Stayed at these property which is very clean and well kept. My issue was with the front desk, the lady at the front desk-Nora- was not very accommodating and rude. I asked the AC be adjusted to 70, it was 76 degrees there, the thermostat was lock at the gym, and she fuzz about it. I told her to set it to 70 and she did not listen, and set it at 74. The next day I had the same issue and she was very rude and inquired how long I was going to stay, like it bothered her that I ask for the temperature at the gym be of my liking. Im the guess and Im paying to stay, her job is to accomodate my request.

Perfect for me. If you are looking for a place just to sleep and grab a quick free continental breakfast in the morning this place is GREAT! Its clean and right off of the highway. The customer service was excellent. Tristian the guest service gentleman was very nice and welcoming. Answering all of my questions.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The entire place was immaculately clean, and the staff was really welcoming. The food was fairly standard Holiday Inn fare—nothing fancy—but the freshly ground coffee machine was a standout and truly made my mornings. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Good hotel, convenient location - but the staff is absolutely OUTSTANDING! Nora went completely above and beyond. Will absolutely stay here on my next trip!

I've been staying here for 1 week and going to 2 weeks, and they haven't changed my sheets... they do come in to clean up some... Breakfast is good but it is served a bit late... I leave at 6am and sometimes the coffee isn't ready... UPDATE: They now have 2 coffee machines and it makes fresh coffee, Yay! Maintenance clean my room well, but they keep forgetting to leave necessary, like, replacing a towel or leaving me more cups for my evening coffee... also, I left one day, and they didn't clean my room at all... a bit disappointed... old trash left behind

Poor service at breakfast both days, but especially Saturday. Hot food items were empty for a long time. We went to breakfast at 8am. The area was not crowded, but the hot items were not being maintained. This is not our usual experience at a Holiday Inn Express.
